Located on the northern tip of the Dalmatian island of Dugi Otok, in the Zadar archipelago, Croatia, this bay faces south, onto the open sea. Its beach gained its reputation from the whiteness of the sand and clean sea, surrounded by pine trees that provide a welcome shade in the summer. It is about 800 meters long and, some 250 meters from the shore, it is 3.5 meters deep, which means that the bathing area is extremely large and shallow and suitable even for young children. The beach provides two catering facilities that offer refreshment from the summer heat and light snacks. Transport is organised from Božava to Sakarun with a tourist train, which departs every two hours. Nearby, the Veli Rat, Veruni, Soline and Božava places are worth visiting.

Située sur la pointe nord de l’île dalmate de DugiOtok, dans l’archipel de Zadar, en Croatie, cette baie est orientée sud, s’ouvrant sur la mer. Elle mesure environ 800 mètres de long, et à environ 250 mètres du rivage elle a une profondeur de 3,5 mètres, offrant ainsi une zone de baignade extrêmement grande et peu profonde, idéale pour les enfants en bas âge. Sur la plage, deux restaurants proposent des boissons pour se rafraîchir en été et des collations légères. Le transport est assuré entre Božava et Sakarun, grâce à un train touristique qui part toutes les deux heures. À proximité, Veli Rat, Veruni, Soline et Božava sont des lieux qui valent le détour.
